This month’s Pinnacle Awards highlight is Centegra Health System for their radio advertising campaign, “HealthBeats.”

Challenge

Centegra HealthBeats are one-minute radio spots that share health information with listeners of the Star 105.5 and Y103.9 radio stations, local for the northwest suburbs of Chicago. These spots give physicians and other healthcare providers one minute to educate the public about a health topic.

Solution

Centegra works with physicians and Associates to develop HealthBeats according to service line needs and program calendars. To develop the radio spots, the Marketing department researches topics that are of interest to the communities we serve. We also meet with service line representatives to learn about new procedures and state-of-the-art technology that will benefit our patients and improve the care we provide.

Results

In addition to providing healthcare information, HealthBeats frequently welcome the public to free physician lectures and Centegra Health System programs. In the past year, attendance at physician lectures has consistently grown, many times to reach standing-room-only capacity.

The Creative Team

Congratulations to the Centegra Health System for receiving Honorable Mention at 2013 Pinnacle Award. The Centegra Marketing department members who work on HealthBeats are Michelle Green and Kim Kubiak. Centegra Health System works with the production staff of Star 105.5, especially producer Frank Monroe, to create HealthBeats. They also collaborate with independent and employed physicians and their teams to create these educational radio spots.
